Nothing Is Random
Living the Day That’s Given
Wake up, and get after it.
But for whom?
Some would say:
The emails.
The check-ins.
The things others ask of us.
The more I immerse myself in external asks, the more I notice how disconnected I become from my mission — and from my health.
Without my health, I have no energy to be a contributing member of society.
So I understand why people become closed off — to protect their energy, to conserve it from the constant asks.
But there’s a deeper layer of protection to harness.
Awareness strengthens your protective armor — knowing when to step in and when to step away. That’s what keeps you steady on the narrow path.
Some think the narrow path is too structured or disciplined to actually enjoy.
But the joy of being on that path offers more than can be articulated. It creates a calm that opens space to appreciate the moment you’re in.
You begin to notice the signs and guidance offered between the lines.
There’s a reason certain things showed up in your day.
Maybe not to help with an immediate task — but to place something on your radar.
Nothing about the day is random.
The conversations that come up.
The people who cross your path.
The things that land in front of you.
They’re not distractions — they’re part of the work.
Now when I start the day, my goal is simply to show up well and stay on the narrow path throughout it.
Take care of my body.
Stay connected to my mission.
Listen in.
Put myself in environments where I can grow with others.
Keep moving forward with intention.
Then the day unfolds.
At night, everything shifts into reflection.
What happened?
What did I notice?
What were the lessons I needed to learn that day?
And then it’s released.
Sleep becomes a recalibration — a quiet space where faith deepens and clarity returns. A reminder that Something larger is guiding what needs attention and what needs to be let go.
Morning comes, and the cycle begins again.
Not chasing the future.
Not rewriting the past.
Just living the day that’s given — with faith that you’re in the right place at the right time.
Keep going.
